Tokyo, Japan (5th April 2021) – Allm Inc. is pleased to announce its close of an approximately 5.6 billion yen Series A financing round. The series was led by Sompo Holdings, Inc., MITSUI & CO., LTD., Eisai Co., Ltd., Royal Philips, Nippon Information Development Co., Ltd., CYBERDYNE, INC., FINANCIAL AGENCY, Inc., mixi, Inc., Capital Medica Co.,Ltd., Vector Inc., SBI Investment Co., Ltd., Bonds Investment Group, Mizuho Capital Corp., Asia Africa Investment and Consulting Pte. Ltd. and undisclosed individual shareholders (honorifics omitted, in no particular order).

Purpose
Since its establishment, Allm has been providing cloud-based information distribution platforms using digital technologies. Since 2015, Allm specializes in the medical and healthcare fields, and has been aiming to realize its mission of contributing to the creation of a global social welfare design through the development and provision of medical ICT solutions. In addition, the company has been actively expanding overseas, and has so far established local offices in eight countries (the United States, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Chile, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Rwanda) and provided medical ICT solutions to 23 countries.
Through the funds raised, Allm aims to expand and grow its business both in Japan and overseas and actively invest in R&D, including the development of solutions to respond to COVID-19. Allm will also quickly respond to the needs of the medical and healthcare industries and further contribute to the rapidly changing society.

Outlook for the Future
2021 is considered to be the year when the control of new COVID-19 infections, including the start of vaccination, will be in full effect. As Japan is the host of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, increased travel between and within countries is a critical issue to combat. With this in mind, we will develop and provide solutions that aim to balance the provision of safety and security with economic activities, such as a monitoring system for patients undergoing treatment that links the previously provided “Team”, a solution for total community healthcare system,“MySOS”, a support app for emergencies and healthcare information, as well as Allm’s recent service that quickly delivers PCR test results. In addition, we will accelerate the creation of value in new areas such as the enhancement of clinical trial support services utilizing the network of „Join“, a communication app for medical professionals, and educational and medical services via video streaming of real-time surgical procedures. Allm is also strengthening „Join“ and its linkage with diagnostic AI programs to further contribute to the reform of work styles in the medical field. Furthermore, we will build a new profit structure through the development of new insurance products that utilize medical data.
