Paper on Join has been published in Neuroscience Informatics
Paper to assess the utility of Join, “Expedited communication of CT findings for acute stroke using a HIPAA-compliant messaging system” has been published in Neuroscience Informatics.
Use of Join was associated with a significant decrease in read-back times compared to conventional methods of communication and was well accepted as a mode of communicating CT findings between radiologists and interdisciplinary members of the stroke team.
Also, most users found Join to be an effective means of communication with the potential to impact patient care.
